The Planning Committee of the City of Vader, WA will be holding a public hearing as required by Vader Municipal Code 17.10.080, regarding a Comprehensive Plan Amendment. The amendment is to update to the Vader Subdivision Regulations as presented in DRAFT Ordinance 2017-03 (see document attached below). The Ordinance establishes the rules for the orderly subdivision of lands within the City of Vader, including plats and short-subdivisions. It also establishes rules for Boundary Line Adjustments. The Ordinance is drafted to comply with all applicable standards and requirements in Title 58.17 RCW, the State of Washington’s land subdivision statute.
The public hearing will be held at Vader City Hall, 317 8th Street, Vader WA, on Thursday, February 15th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in concurrence with the regularly scheduled Planning Committee Meeting and will be conducted in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act. Public Comments may be made in person at the hearing or may be delivered in writing to Vader City Hall and read by the City Clerk/Treasurer at the meeting. Comments made in writing must be received by the Clerk/Treasurer no later than the start time of the public hearing. The facility is wheelchair and handicapped accessible. If you require any special accommodations in order to attend, please contact the Vader City Clerk/Treasurer at 360-295-3222 no less than 24 hours before meeting time.
As a matter of reference, the City of Vader issued a Determination of Non-significance (DNS) regarding proposed Ordinance 2017-03 in March of 2017.
