Help create the next May Day button art! This years theme is " Red White and Bloom." Artwork that showcases this best will be selected to be this year's button!! Entries due February 21, 2026
PRIZE: ONE winner selected. You will receive a $50 prize, T-shirt (if one is made) and button featuring your artwork! Your winning creation will be used on this year's T-Shirts & Buttons and Local Advertising. It will also be posted to the Vader May Day Website: www.vadermayday.weebly.com, and Facebook (Vader May Day Festival).

Red, White and Boom plus Hell on Wheels Car Show
If you were in town last year on the 4th of July, you know that it was one of our biggest events. This year we are ready to top that with your support! We are currently looking for food and craft vendors, along with cars for our car show! Email vaderadmin@vaderwa.org to register a car or become a vendor! NOTICE: Vader Water System Improvements
Lewis County Public Works is in the process of improving approximately 8,185 linear feet of the existing Vader Water System. This work will consist of removing/replacing the existing watermains and replacing them with 8-inch and 6-inch PVC C900 pipe and appurtenances within the City of Vader, WA. Construction starts January 6, 2025 and is to be completed April 1, 2025.
NOTICE: Vader Fiber Installation Project
Lewis County Public Utility District is in the process to install new fiber optic cable in various sizes from 6ct to 288ct (depending on location) throughout the City of Vader and surrounding areas. Construction is anticipated to start in late May 2024 and be completed by June 2025.

2025 Holiday's in Vader!
With the 2025 event season behind us, here is a look at how our Holiday's in Vader and light up anything parade. The town was lit up and the fun was flowing. City staff and city volunteers out did themselves with this and it shows!! A huge thank you to those involved in making the magic happen for Vader!
