PUBLIC HEARING - Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 at City Hall

NOTICE IS HERE BY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Vader in the City Hall council chambers on May 23rd, 2019 at 6 p.m.

The purpose of this public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CBDG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons.

Up to $750,000 on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development, planning and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low and moderate income persons.

An outline of the proposed Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrade project will be available for review at the Vader City Hall, Monday through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until June 5th, 2019. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the City of Vader, PO Box 189, Vader, WA 98593 until June 5th, 2019.

The council chambers is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice. Contact Jill Nielson at 360-295-3222 at Vader City Hall.
