Free Limb Chipping Event Saturday June 22nd, 2019 10am-2pm at Sewer Plant

 The City Council has agreed to hold a FREE Limb Chipping event for all residents living in the Vader city limits (identification will be required).

The event will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sewer Plant on the south end of A Street (1025 A Street).

Limbs can be no larger than 5 inches in diameter.

You will be required to assist the city Public Works employee with unloading the limbs as they will be chipped while you wait. There will be no dropping off and leaving limbs at this event. This event is first come, first served, and chipping will happen only as the limbs/branches are removed from your vehicle so plan plenty of time to wait in line and help with unloading.

There will be no charge for this service and residents may take the chipped material with them for use at their property if they would like. You will need to shovel the chipped material into your own vehicle if you want to take some with you. The City employee will not be able to load the chipped material for you.
