State Law reference— State building code adopted by reference and in effect in all counties and cities, RCW 19.27.031; governing body of county or city authorized to amend state building code as it applies within the county or city, and as long as the minimum performance standards of the codes are not diminished by the amendment, RCW 19.27.040.
