Congratulations! The City of Vader has been selected to receive a Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) grant which is funded by fuel tax money. The project amount of $523,833 is slated for repairs and new construction of the roadway, sidewalks and lighting along A Street between 5th Street and 7th Street (Hwy. 506).

Once the grant documents are signed and finalized the City will engage in hiring an Engineer to create official design documents for the project. Once the design phase is completed the work could begin as soon as the Summer of 2017!

Keep your eyes peeled for improved driving, walking and lighting safety on an important thoroughfare in Vader!
